James Bowman from Against Me!

I know. Most of you have probably thought that this post was going to be about Laura Jane Grace (formerly known as Tom Gabel), the frontman frontwoman of Florida folk-punkrockers Against Me! Her story is truly inspiring for anyone fighting against prejudices and seeking their sexual/personal freedom; a boy who was raised inside the punk-rock scene having to deal with a lot of homophobic behaviours and who, in his thirties, married and with a daughter, decided to accept and reveal her true self, as a woman. Happily, her family supported that decision and the band, or at least the only original remaining member, supported that too.

Damian Abraham from Fucked Up

Ok, so, this was an obvious post from the very beginning, sooner or later I had to talk about him. His name is Damian Abraham, he has monikers such as Father Damian or Pink Eyes and he’s the singer/growler and awesome frontman for the (again) awesome canadian indie/hardcore/alternative band Fucked Up. And their collection of explicit photographs is the closer this blog are never going to be from porn, so enjoy.

No debió ser fácil disimular, con todo el tema de las groupies que rodea el mundo del rock y finalmente, ya una vez disueltos Hüsker Dü y formados Sugar, el rumor se extendió, fue publicado en la prensa y tuvo que admitirlo.

Well, to be honest, when I wanted to start this blog I wanted to put something interesting, induce to deep thinking, etc. Hopefully I’ll do and you’ll help me. But I’m tired after work, I feel lazy and a bit… well, whatever. So I’ve thought that another day I’ll begin with something more «meaningful» and today I’m gonna start with a modern rockstar that has become a bit chubby in the way, and I love it.

I’m talking about Chino Moreno of the band Deftones, based in Sacramento, California. For me it’s funny to read in forum threads people laughing at him because he has gained weight. Can’t you see, stupid people, that he is beautiful? Anyway I observed that there are some girls still in love with him, which I find it logical. For me, a guy this beautiful, with such a cute face and able to wear those ridicule high shocks not only without a complex but making a trend of it, it’s just admirable xD And of his songs youcan tell that he is smart, obscure, passionate, tender and very romantic. And a mix of it all make him simply adorable. It’s a shame he’s not gay but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind being the subject of this entry.
